Decent sized room and a mini bar, satellite television, and climate control inside. Exceptionally nice location, relatively close to Aci Trezza. Good choice of food options not too far from the venue.
Not so helpful staff!

Very friendly hotel, lovely room (cleaned daily) with balcony overlooking aci trezza, food was excellent and plentiful (too much at times!) and fish on the menu every day. Most days we had the swimming pool to ourselves and we visited last 2 weeks of July. The fishing town of Aci Trezza is a 5 min walk away. Perfect location for exploring the area as easy access onto the nearby autostrada.
This is not a complaint but the restaurant is closed on a Friday, although plenty of restaurants in Aci Trezza.

The guestroom at Hotel Lachea was absolutely fantastic! The room was super cozy and had all the amenities I needed for a comfortable stay. The fully furnished setup gave it a homely feel, and the accessories provided were a nice touch. I slept like a baby!
Personally, I found the air conditioning a bit too chilly at times, but that's just my preference. Others might enjoy it!

The staff was very helpful and the rooms are kept very well. Pool is very clean and view of sea. Facilities are good too, and was a good base to travel from.
Too close to main road, can't sleep well till well after midnight. Trip to village on foot a bit hard when pushing a buggy.

The location here was great, and I loved the magnificent views; in addition, it's conveniently near a bus stop, the attentive staff made sure everything was smooth for us, and we enjoyed the breakfast with delicious cakes and omelets.

Hotel Lachea is separated between the main hotel building and a newer anex two minutes away. We were lucky enough to have a room in the new building which afforded us an amazing view of the sea and lovely peace and quiet. The pool was very well kept and was often empty so we had it all to ourselves - especially during the midday sun. The cleaning staff were excellent and we had fresh sheets every other day and lovely clean towels daily.
Despite asking for a non-smoking room, the room smelt heavily of cigarettes for the first couple of days and there was an ash tray on the desk. However, we asked for clean towels which helped massively and the smell left fairly quickly so I suspect we were just unfortunate to follow a smoking guest who left just before we arrived. The breakfast whilst nice was definitely a continental breakfast although you could happily fill yourself up for the day on the lovely fresh bread rolls and orange juice once we got into the swing of things! Also worth noting that the hotel is in Acitrezza not Acicastello. Acitrezza was beautiful with a lovely fishing marina and square that is a hive of activity come nightfall but had we realised, we would have made the short walk to Acicastello so we could experience that too.

The rooms are very nice and clean. Huge balcony and perfect sea view! Good location, close to Catania and not far from lovely places such as Giardini Naxos, Taormina and really close to Etna, the volcano is viewable everywhere. The hotel staff are very friendly and helpful. We really enjoyed the holiday there and love to go back!
